Requirements
To be a part of Mindsum as a therapist, you are required to meet the following:
- Current and valid registration(s) with UK professional bodies (e.g. BACP, BABCP, UKCP, ACP, HPC or HCPC).
- Substantial post-qualification experience working with children and young people.
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance.
- Access to appropriate equipment to undertake online or remote work (e.g. computer, telephone, reliable internet connection, webcam).
- Valid enhanced DBS certificate.

We are a non-profit organization that uses technology to bring the right information and support for the mental health of children and young people.
We primarily focus on children (under 16), young adults aged 16 to 24, and their families. However, we also welcome therapists who are able to work with adults. For children, we require the consent from parents or carers.
You can set your fee while creating your profile. We charge 10% of what you make from sessions booked through Mindsum. We use this money to offer free therapies to those who can't afford to pay.
No, you're not required. However, we expect to offer free initial consultation call so that you can understand the clients' needs better and see if you are a good match.
We focus on making it easier for you to manage all your client sessions, store your files, sync calendars and everything else that you might need. We listen to your feedback and apply it.
No. There is no fixed contract or commitment of time. You are free to cancel your account anytime you like.
