Bio
I am a Mental Health Nurse with over 15 years experience. I trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in 2018 with a specialism in working with psychosis and bi-polar disorder in people aged 16-35 years. Since qualifying I have worked part time as a CBT therapist providing therapy for psychosis, bi-polar, depression, anxiety and PTSD, and part time as a Supervisor and Lecturer at Exeter University. I currently work as Clinical Lead on the SMHP CBT Programme, with a particular focus on the development of CBT skills and delivering Supervisor Training to qualified CBT therapists wanting to supervise trainees on the course. I intend to start training in EMDR in October 2022 and will be seeking individuals who have experienced trauma to work with around this time.
