Bio
I qualified from Goldsmiths College in 2002, and I work with children and adults, providing art psychotherapy and counselling techniques for anxiety, stress management, and emotional regulation. I have experience working in London, Singapore, and the UAE, and my approach is informed by: psychotherapy, creative therapies, sand tray therapy, mindful approaches, CBT and DBT skills, and solution-focused therapy. I also conduct self-development workshops and programmes. I am a researcher who has recently published a journal article on neuro-diversity, emotional regulation, and communication. I use verbal and non-verbal approaches and emphasise how strategies can build resilience and inner growth, with a non-judgmental approach. I recognise difficult experiences can not always be put into words. Advocating the importance of creative and mindful approaches, in maintaining health and well-being, as an avenue for healthy work-life balance, regulation, communication, and personal development.
